and it's not a nice scream, it's a gutteral DADDY! I calmy explained to him that I will only answer his calls if he calls me in a nice voice. So a few days later, Daddy ?.... Daddy? (a bit louder) but not grunting it. I called back that I was coming and there he is sitting at the top of the stairs, Daddy, I asked nice! I said , you did! Great Job ! He learns quick, not the same for his 14 year old brother , unfortunately.
Here's the scoop, the little one at 3 1/2 years old is Mr. Independent until something doesn't go his way, then it's a yellfest. Trying to nip that in the bud sooner than later we have told him we aren't answer him if he's going to whine and scream for something. It's so funny seeing the change so quickly and him realizing, wow, if I'm going to be quiet and ask nicely I may get what I want. However, picking out his clothes I'll leave for another time.
I'm looking to get more pictures, info, and the like on here as time progresses, this is just the very first post on yet another daddy blog. Are there some out there ? Yes, not as numerous as the Mommys but we are here too.
I work a full-time job and sometimes get the time to unwind at the computer after work, play some games, get on FB, watch episodes of *his* shows before the house is quiet again. That's the life for a family with children 12 years apart.
